Customer issue

Good morning, I see this issue at times with parts being called for component tilt. When I check on them via v-TS I see the following: [cid:d62caa64-711c-47f2-8961-cc2d5341330d] How does the AOI end up with what appears to be missing data? Thanks in advance for your asisstance. Hello George, Is there any tall component around this chip resistor? When was the last time you guys run machine calibration with the plate?

Good morning, apologies for not following up sooner on this. For this example, I consistently see it here. [cid:8ee1b20f-a7ff-4633-ac8f-7be6b3647844] While I'm on this board in particular, these resistors below often have difficulty and are usually flagged as wrong component. They are wedged between some decent sized caps. [cid:d4310dd0-27bb-406e-9d41-36bc5c59aa5b] With regards to calibration, I do not have a specific date but it was done within the last 30-45 days. I could give you a definitive answer if I knew where to locate the results. Hello George, There appears to be an issue with your component 3D profiling. Can you please run the 3D calibration/validation plate and provide results Thanks,

Hello George, Could you try enabling Secondary reflection for those components, it may be difficult to perfectly reconstruct those components because S730 does not have our latest technology called MPS but you can try.

Hello George, I have some question: Is there any cooling conveyor between the reflow oven and the AOI? What the temperature of the boards when they going in to the machine? When you open the front door and touch the illumination unit does it is sticky? Does this happen only this this particular component or all of them on the same board?
  10. Customer Customer reply | Nov 6, 2025 at 2:24 PM
Hello, There is approximately 5' of conveyor between the oven and AOI. I do not know the exact temp of the PCB. After enabling the secondary reflection, the calls for these have improved greatly. Hello George, Thanks for the update. I asked about the conveyors because we’ve noticed cases where the machine is positioned too close to the oven. When the PCB enters the machine, its temperature is still high, causing flux condensation inside the equipment. Over time, this leads to lens contamination
