Hello Saqib and OMRON Team, The G: Drive on our OMRON server is full, and now we’re not able to run any of our machines. For now, I’ve cut and pasted the Temp folders and Share data to an external HDD just to free up some space so we can run for a short period. Could you please check and let us know which files or folders we can safely delete or move to clear it up properly? Attached is the picture of the Drive. Thanks a lot for your help. Good morning Jeremy, Shortening retention will not be an option for us, so we would like to proceed with increasing the storage space instead. Please let us know the next steps or any details you need from our side. Hello Clement, Is the AOI server a physical device or virtual server? Can you check the size of each folder inside the g:\image folder? There should be 4 folders: g;\Image\ComponentNumber g:\image\ComponentNumberGroup g:\Image\Inspection g:\Image\InspectionProgram You can simply right click on the folder and click properties and it will show the size of each folder. This will give us idea how to manage the storage on g;| drive. Best Regards

Hello Clement, You can delete adjustment images or any additional Inspection Image that you don't need on each program, you can also select the option delete when you release a program to get some free space on the G drive.

Increase storage space 2). Shorten retention in v-DB Either of these will resolve your issue. We have solutions available to archive data beyond the size of the server if neither of these options work, however there is an associated cost with the archive software, as it is an external application. Clement, The g:\images\Inspection folder uses 4TB of space. The data retention for inspection images is set for 365 got true faults and False calls. I would suggest decreasing the false call retention period to 180 days and leave the true fault at 365. This will clear some space on the g:\drive since false calls image are using most of the space in the inspection folder. If this is a virtual server then you can ask IT to increase the hard drive space. It would be very difficult to increase space on the physical server. Hello Clement, There is no easy way add hard drive space to physical server. If you need more space then your IT can provide a virtual server with more hard drive and we can transfer the server. The second option would be to purchase another physical server with hard drive space. Please let you what you would prefer. Best Regards
