Hello Luis., I just got off the phone with Juan. It sounds like the entry shutter to the x-ray machine is not triggering an opening. I’m about to board a plane but wanted to update this ticket.

Hello Luis., I spoke with Jeremiah this afternoon and he said there was something at the side of the machine triggering the safety curtain. If you no longer have issues we will close this ticket.

Morning, The issue with the machine is still present. If we could have a price quote on a new left side curtain sensor. We’re not 100% yet that’s the issue but would like to get a replacement quote started for it. + Adding others to the email chain from Sypris. Sypris is also asking when the next available time for an Omron rep to come onsite to help troubleshoot. Note, I did send Juan and Thomas the light curtain manuals this morning. Hoping this helps them resolve the issue. @Francisco @Brian can you guys assist with light curtain quote? Separate email chain, Juan updated with the below info:

To confirm, the line is still down, and the issue remains an anomaly. I am not sure if this helps, but the error only occurs in the morning after a long shutdown period. Could this pattern point to another underlying issue? Normally we can restart the machine and the error clears for the rest of the day, so for it to keep the machine down this long is unusual and not something we have seen before. Jeremiha, Yes, machine is up and running we were able to uses the procedure and disassemble the emitter part of the light Courtin cleaned it even though it looked clean reinstalled and adjusted several times until we got a strong signal clearing the condition . My question is since there is no maintenance procedure for this component in the manual do you recommend any maintenance for these light curtains. Regards

Hello Luis, We recommend that you don't mess with these, unless needed. We talked on the phone about what training is offered. Let us know if you want a quote for that. Thanks Juan. We'll set this ticket to resolved.

This training is for Omron AXI tube, FPD, and calibration training. He asked me what maintenance training was available, and Francisco said this.
