Customer issue
Thank you, Jeremy! I wasn’t aware that this option existed, and I’d like to learn more about it. Is this feature commonly used by other customers? I went to Settings in the Utilities of v‑TS and noticed that the “Use Expansion Availability setting function” is not checked. I assume this is because we are using a shared library. So, if we check this function (preventing a part from syncing to the library), then define a criterion for that part number to be used on a specific assembly number, and afterwards we un‑check the “Use Expansion Availability setting function,” will the criterion that was applied to the part in that specific assembly now sync to the library? Can the “Use Expansion Availability setting function” be toggled on and off frequently without causing issues? Thida, There is a function called Expansion Availability. This is a setting in Utilities in v-TS. If Expansion Availability is enabled, a part will NOT sync to the library. Good morning Omron Team, Once a part number is added to the library and its inspection criteria are defined, those criteria are applied to every assembly that uses that part number. Is there a way to set up the inspection criteria so they are saved locally, affecting only a specific assembly number, rather than being used by all assemblies that share the same part number? For example, suppose we have a part number that, in Assembly A, requires a solder fillet height of 25 %, but the same part number, when used in Assembly B, must meet a fillet‑height requirement of 75 %. Any guidance on how to create assembly‑specific inspection criteria, or whether this capability is supported in the current system, would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your assistance.
