Current case

Customer issue

Good Morning, Can I converse with someone on an understanding issue on my part when it comes to the CSV and Image files that are being saved for inspections? I'm having trouble understanding where exactly these files are being placed so that it can then be read by the Q-up navi system. We have a backup storage drive set up but in order to test out if it works, I want to ensure that we are backing up the correct files. Hello Dan, The CSV files are used for internal processing system of each customer. The customer (Mara) defines where those files are sent and it is the responsibility of the process/group using these files to delete those. The path can be viewed from the CSV output function from the function screen. The Q-Up Navi files are normally sent to \\AOI_Server\sharedata\POutPut. This can be configured to output to any location and require configuration changes on both machine and AOI server. Those can be viewed from the Function Screen --> Q_up Navi settings. Please let me know if you need more explanation and I'm available most of the day. Best Regards

Thanks for your reply, Saqib. Those Q-Up Navi files are still being sent to the POutput folder, but the files in this folder are all CSV files for the SPI. Are the AOI folders, if left at default for the output location, supposed to show in this folder as well? Or are they natively in a different category? Hello Dan, The AOI data is stored in Oracle database and images are stored on the g:\Images folder. The AOI data is managed by the VDB Admin Tool --> Application Setting page. The SPI data in the PoutPut folder and the CSV files from SPI have to be deleted manually or by the scripts.. Your IT can help purge this data. Please let me if this answers your questions. Please feel free to call me if you have any questions. I'm available most of the day today. Best Regards
