Current case

Customer issue

Hello, We are receiving a "Confirm Safety Reset" error when starting up the machine. The machine warms up normally to approximately 30% before triggering the safety reset error. We noticed that Left Shutter A and Left Shutter B are both showing OFF while the shutter door is closed. Could this be the issue? We are still trying to identify which sensors correspond to those signals. We have attempted to test the left shutter cylinder sensors by removing one of them and manually actuating it. Although the sensor itself indicates a state change, no corresponding change is shown in the I/O status, which suggests the signal may not be reaching the controller or that we may be monitoring the wrong I/O point. Please advise. Thank you, Ryan Rogers Process Engineer Printed Circuit Board Assembly ZF Group Electronics & ADAS ZF Active Safety and Electronics US LLC 902 S. 2nd St., Marshall, IL 62441 / USA Phone: [phone] [email]

Hello Ryan, Your YL has tripped the +OT sensor at the moment. This needs to be resolved. Do you know about the XY Brake and how to engage and disengage so you can move the YL ?

Hello Ryan, Would you be able to provide us with the last 4 digits of the machine's serial number on the back of the machine? It might be something like 0070 or 0261. Thank you, Andrew Crossley

Hello Ryan, Also, as Jeremiah had mentioned, you will need to fix the overtravel issue that you can see on the lower left of the sensors page as shown in the provided image. To do this first toggle the XY brake on the back of the machine with the key so that the axes may move freely. Then gently move back the Xray tube (your safest bet would be to put the tube in the center of the machine). Finally, toggle the XY brake to the original position so that the axes cannot be moved by hand, close the front door, and verify that the sensor page no longer shows that YL +OT is off. We would be happy to assist you over another teams call for this process if you like. Thank you, Andrew Crossley

Hi Ryan Looking at the screenshot you sent there is a problem with air, please check the air pressure is set to 0.5 (MPA), the IO is showing the Sensor on the cylinder are not been flagged, it could be due low pressure or you may need to adjust position Francisco Villalpando Engineering Supervisor Direct: +[phone] [email]
