Please check ticket [#{ticket.id}}] for the full message before responding. Last Public comment: Rogers, Will : Good morning. We received the white calibration plate yesterday with a CD labeled CKD VP9000. Is this CD required for the calibration? According to the email I can follow the attached procedures. The readme file on the CD says that I need to install the VP9K-IS_win32.exe. (1000+ paste failures/warnings) [Case: 1760407] Hello Will, Attached are both calibration procedures for your review. The white plate calibration must be performed first so you would need to purchase a white plate from Omron. Yes, you can do the full calibration, but it does require white plate and the white plate lead times can be lengthy (up 16 weeks). If things can be delayed until then, Omron can send you a quote for just plate, your existing height plate can be used for second part of calibration. If the plate lead time is longer than ideal, we can quote for Onsite service, along with a white plate for future use. Please advise best option for you. If you feel we can do the calibration, could you quote us for the 2 plates, and we can go from there. Otherwise give us a quote for the onsite visit. (1000+ paste failures/warnings) [Case: 1760407] Hello Will, The white calibration plate will be needed, and possible a theta correction plate if required. Omron will get you a quote soon, are you looking to get one or all multiple machines calibrated? (1000+ paste failures/warnings) [Case: 1760407] Tony, Yes, we tried a few different older backups that we had, but all of them had the same results. We will need to get a quote for the SPI service with calibration. We were lucky to have an older VP5200 onsite still that we put it in line temporary replacement until we can get the VP5200L-V running correctly again. (1000+ paste failures/warnings) [Case: 1760407] Hello Will, It's very unlikely that you have a white plate, I remember back in the UTEC days, and you didn't have one then. The backups you had from two years ago. You no longer have those? If you have an entire vpv backup, rename the old vpv folder vpv_old and copy over the backup vpv. You can copy the vpv6000.ini file from original to new vpv folder to copy output paths. If no backup or backup doesn't work, Omron will provide Carrier a quote for onsite service of you SPI machine, including calibration. At this time, I am unsure of resource availability but we will work with you to get an Engineer onsite as soon as possible. Do you have an image of what the white plate would look like to see if it’s something I recognize. Before doing the calibration, I created a backup of the D:\VP-V folder and over-wrote the folder with the backup files we had from about 2 years ago. When doing the calibration it was with the older files already, and we don’t have another backup any older that I know of. How do we go about setting up an onsite service visit and what’s the earliest we would be able to get some one here? (1000+ paste failures/warnings) [Case: 1760407] Hello Will, The gain will need to be adjusted using a white plate calibration. Do you know if you have any backups of the D/VPV folder? If you are able to locate one try using that one, its values may be low enough to allow you to run. If you are unable to locate a backup, I receommend onsite service for calibration of system. Hello Will, Please ignore that readme, you do not need to install that. Thanks.
