Last Public comment: Temeka Teague : Dear Francisco and/or AOI Tech Support, Since our team meet last month, I have figured out most of our lighting problems we were having with leaded paste, thank you! We are still having another issue that I'm not so sure on how to tackle. So for example, when using a 4mil screen, normally we set our stencil thickness no higher than 124um. Lately we are having to increase our stencil thickness to 130-138um on 4mil stencils. We're not sure why that would be. The board layout and design have not changed so we ruled that out. Would this have something to do with how the camera sees the paste? Z-Validity is selected on this program, but it still has an issue with height and/volume while being set to 130um on a 4mil stencil. This is happening on a few products that uses lead-free paste (if that matters). I hope all of that made sense. Back to the team meet last month, you offered to remote into the SPI machine and watch a process. We are wondering if that's still an option in hopes of you finding anything out of the ordinary to cause essentially false failures or to help us find out why our parameters would need to be high in order for the SPI to deem it a good print. We are also wondering if what we are seeing could only be handle by an Omron team member or if our maintenance department if it is indeed . the maintenance, if it needs it, has to come from a support person from Omron or would it be easier to have you guys remote into the machine? If you are still willing to remote in, I would need to clear it with our VP of Operations, but it shouldn't be an issue. Best Regards, Temeka Teague. We'd be happy to help review the machine settings with you. Scheduling a Teams meeting next week should be fine. Recently i had a accident and needed my leg amputated. I was out of work for a few months. I normally do most of the spi work. (I was in the middle of training another person on how to do that). So some setting in the engineering section of the machine were changed. Is it possible to get a bit of help via teams next week? If the 3D height verification is within 3 microns, please manually adjust the lighting settings for both the 3D inspection and solder paste inspection. The 3D lighting affects the height measurement, while the solder paste lighting affects the area and volume calculations. If the height verification passes, I would recommend reviewing the printer settings next
