Hello Chris, See below answers Can their software integrate with Labview? LabVIEW includes powerful features for reading CSV files and even making API calls, so the answer is yes , it can definitely handle that. However, a LabVIEW expert would still need to decode and interpret the specific file formats generated by the machine in order to integrate them properly into their own system. Is there any method that third party software can initiate a hard gate stop at the AOI if we have a threshold limit or other programmed event that can interface with the OMRON and stop the process? Yes, it’s possible, but it will require an I/O interface on the third‑party side. This could be as simple as interrupting a SMEMA signal, or you could use the AOI’s built‑in interlock signal for that purpose. The AOI also has its own line‑stop options available, see the screenshot below. Can we export data into a third party database like Oracle or Excel? AOI software is able to export a CSV file per inspected board with pass fail information. Can the software can initiate a batch file (script) for pass/fail of each pcb to then use in our internal logic to prevent shipping failed product. ? It can create a CSV file with PASS/Fail information Francisco Villalpando Engineering Supervisor Direct: +[phone] [email] On Fri, 27 Mar at 8:22 AM, Eric McElmurry wrote: Hi Chris, Thanks for your message. Hi John, That’s correct. This is a single, one-time license that covers all your machines at that facility, plus any future inspection machines. It also covers the remote services to install and initially configure the function. Best Regards, Eric McElmurry Omron - Inspection Systems Division ________________________________

Apologize for all the emails but one last item. We see issues occasionally with our camera not registering the barcode of our circuit boards. I noticed that we have the VT-S730-02 model that has a 4MP camera. If an upgraded camera would help our issue, would it be possible to upgrade our current machine to the 12MP camera on the “H” series? Hi John, After discussing internally, we have determined that a field retrofit to the H series camera is not possible. Furthermore, we don’t believe that a larger field of view camera will make much of a difference. In our experience, struggles with reading barcodes are most commonly linked to inconsistent barcode label quality, so that’s where we recommend we start. Would you please email the AOI support account separately? Then we can track this topic independently. We would like to remotely connect to your system so you can show us some examples of barcode labels that were not read correctly. Then we can give our assessment on if some detection functions can be adjusted within the inspection program, or if maybe there is a barcode label quality issue. Thanks very much! Hi John, Thanks for your patience. I can confirm that all you need is network access to the Omron server. The API license happens within the database. It allows you to unlock the Omron database in the server for all the queries you want to set up. No dongles or anything. Best Regards, Eric McElmurry [This is Eric McElmurry's card. Hi John, Omron's position is that we do not recommend Windows updates. We have no control over Windows, so we can't really guarantee performance on recent Windows versions that we haven't been able to test with yet. It sometimes can happen that a new Windows update may interrupt communication or performance, or even stop machines from functioning. This is why we ask that customers ideally keep the machines isolated on their own network. If IT absolutely insists that the machines go on the domain, Omron should be consulted to ensure machine functionality is kept. We also ask that you please take care when pushing updates to the machines and ask if a certain version is compatible before implementing it. If you like, please feel free to reach out, and we can schedule a technical session to review in more detail. Thanks! Best Regards, Eric McElmurry [This is Eric McElmurry's card. Their email is [email] Their phone number is +[phone].] ________________________________
